Candle holders
3D printed candle holders for a soft, warm glow. Geometric or organic shapes, for tealights or slim tapers.
6 models available · 5 to 7 day lead time · Printed in France
Our candle holders are 3D printed to order in Guerande, France, from plant based PLA. They are designed for tealights sitting in their metal cup, never in direct contact with the printed material. Six models, around twenty colours, made in 5 to 7 days.
Shiro, Ondea, Bubble, Lunar and the seasonal shapes cover fairly different styles, from geometric to organic. These are accent pieces: two or three together on a table do more than a single one in the centre.
The heat question, plainly
PLA starts to soften around 55 to 60 °C. A printed candle holder is therefore made for tealights that stay in their aluminium cup, which contains both flame and wax. Do not put a bare taper in one, do not let a candle burn all the way down, and never leave a flame unattended. PETG, which takes higher temperatures, will join our ranges in the coming months. We compare the two materials in PLA or PETG, which material for which home decor object.
To carry the mood further, our home accessories and vases come in the same colours, so a table can be built without a shift in tone.
- What material are your candle holders printed in?
- Plant based PLA, printed in our workshop in Guerande, France. PETG, which takes higher temperatures, will join our ranges in the coming months.
- Does a 3D printed candle holder stand up to heat?
- PLA starts to soften around 55 to 60 °C. Our candle holders are therefore designed for tealights that stay in their aluminium cup, so flame and wax never touch the printed piece. Do not use a bare taper and do not let a candle burn all the way down.
- How long does it take to make?
- 5 to 7 days. Each candle holder is printed after you order, in the colour you chose.
- How do I clean a printed candle holder?
- Damp cloth and mild soap, cold. If wax has spilled over, let it harden completely then lift it off gently: do not warm the piece to loosen it.
- Can candle holders be matched to the rest of the table?
- Yes. They come in the same twenty or so colours as our vases and home accessories, so a table can be built with no shift in tone.
