A good Christmas decoration gift is chosen first by budget, then by recipient. From €3 to €38, our statues, LED candle holders, seasonal figurines, vases and personalised pieces are made in France, printed to order in our Guérande workshop, in around twenty colours, at no extra charge for colour.
Made in France, here, means printed in Guérande
A "made in France" gift is only worth it if you know where it was made. For us, the answer is one place: every piece in this article is printed in our Guérande workshop, in Loire-Atlantique, on a fleet of around fifty printers, with no subcontracting. The product pages state it in one line: "French manufacturing in Guérande (44)".
The material is also named: biosourced PLA, of plant origin, made notably from corn starch. And nothing is produced in advance: each piece is printed after your order. The criteria that allow you to verify that a 3D-printed object is really made in France, and what the regulations say about it, are detailed in where to buy 3D-printed decoration made in France.
Set an amount per person before choosing the object
A Christmas list has several names, and each one doesn't call for the same gift. Before looking for the object, set an amount per person: a small token for a colleague or neighbour, a more striking piece for someone close, the main gift for the person who matters most. The object is then chosen within that budget, not the other way round.
We have classified the pieces in the catalogue into four tiers, at the prices displayed on the product pages. Colour does not change the price of any piece mentioned here. What does change it is sometimes the size or version: when a piece exists in several formats, we give the price of each or the starting price.
Up to €5: the small token
At €3, the Cat Statue and the Dog Statue measure 6 cm high: a stylised silhouette, a single colour. Both together cost €6, for a home that has both animals. Why a silhouette reads better than a portrait at this size, we explain in cat statue: the stylised silhouette, not the realistic portrait.
The candle holders fit the same budget: the Ondéa, the Bubble and the Cœur at €3, the Lunar at €4. They are filled with an LED tealight candle, never a flame. The PLA they are made from begins to soften at around 55 to 60 °C, and each page reminds you in red. Add an LED to the package: the person will be able to use it as soon as they unwrap it. The choice of candle is detailed in 3D-printed candle holder: which candle to put in it.
The Card holder (€5, one size) closes this tier. It is a decorative stand with a floral design, which holds a card or photo upright: given with the greeting card, it keeps it in view after the holidays.
From €6 to €10: the seasonal figurine or the statue of the year
For a gift that says Christmas without detour, the Christmas collection focuses on this tier: the Reindeer at €6 in 13.5 cm, the Nutcracker from €7 in 22 cm, the Nordic Gnome from €8 in 14 cm, and the Yuki tree decorations from €5 to €10.
The statues, on the other hand, remain in place all year round. The Couple Statue 1 (13 cm, €6) and the Couple 2 Statue (14 cm, €9) are given to a couple. The Guardian Angel with Child Statue (13 cm, €8) suits young parents or a godparent.
The Jewellery Display Stand (€10, 23 × 12 cm) completes this tier for those who remove their rings in the evening.
From €11 to €20: the object used every day
At this tier, the gift becomes an object of use, which you find every day. The Shiro Candle Holder (€14) measures Ø 4 cm by 14 cm high, with a vertical texture, and follows the same rule: an LED tealight candle.
The vase is the other safe bet. The Shizu in 18 cm (€14) is the most accessible of our vases, the Hikari in 18 cm costs €20. Both are made watertight in the workshop by a technical resin and receive the water of a bouquet, as we explain in can you put water in a 3D-printed vase.
For a music or video game enthusiast, the Headra (€14, 9 × 9 × 25.5 cm) is a headphone stand. And for the home that has a dog or cat, the Personalised Pet Bowl, from €18, bears the animal's name.
From €20 to €38: the main gift
For the person receiving the main gift, the Personalised Name Letter (€25) combines a large initial with the chosen first name, for a child's bedroom or playroom.
The Gyroid Catchall Tray set (€25) brings together three formats, square, oblong and round, to be distributed between the entrance, the desk and the bedside table. The choice of each format is detailed in catchall tray: which format for the entrance, desk and bedside table.
The 23 cm vases, the maximum height of our vases, are visible from afar on a sideboard: the Shizu at €24, the Nami at €33, the Hikari and the Kage at €35, the Tama at €36 in high-striped finish, €38 in low-striped. We present them one by one in housewarming gift idea: the decoration piece that stays, with the right format according to the furniture.
Personalise a Christmas gift by colour
A personalised Christmas gift doesn't necessarily involve a first name. Each piece in this article can be configured on its page in around twenty colours, including Ivory White, Matte Black, Khaki Green, Deep Red or Marble Sandstone. You choose the shade that matches the person's interior, and the piece is printed in that shade, for them.
Several pieces go further: they can be configured in two colours chosen separately, Colour A and Colour B. This is the case for the Card holder, the two couple statues, the Guardian Angel with Child Statue, the Jewellery Display Stand, the Headra, the Gyroid Catchall Tray and the Personalised Name Letter. This second colour does not change the price of any of them.
For Christmas, two approaches. A Deep Red or Khaki Green on a seasonal piece like the Reindeer, for festive decoration. A neutral like Ivory White or Marble Sandstone on a statue or vase, for an object that remains in place in January. The first name, for its part, is now only featured on two pieces: the Personalised Name Letter and the Personalised Pet Bowl.
The logic of colour combinations is detailed in colour-personalised 3D vase: compose your own.
Compose a set in the same colour
For a family or couple, several small pieces in the same shade form a more readable gift than an isolated piece: the colour creates the link between different shapes. Four examples, at the prices on the pages.
€6. The Cat Statue and the Dog Statue in the same colour, placed side by side on a shelf.
€13. A Couple Statue 1, an Ondéa and a Lunar, with two LED tealight candles to add: a table corner for two. To dress the entire Christmas Eve table, candle holders, centrepiece and display included, see Christmas table: candle holders, centrepiece and sober pieces.
€22. The Shizu in 18 cm and the Guardian Angel with Child Statue, for the birth of the year.
€35. The Gyroid Catchall Tray and the Jewellery Display Stand: the entrance and bedside table equipped in one go.
Group gifts in a single order
Delivery in France costs €6.90 per order, and it is free from €80 of purchase. Several gifts combined in the same basket therefore share the same costs. A list of five people may be enough to cross the threshold: a Personalised Name Letter (€25), a Tama (€36), a Headra (€14), a Cat Statue and a Dog Statue (€3 each) make €81.
Printed after your order, in Guérande
None of these pieces are waiting in stock. Your order arrives at our Guérande workshop, the spool of the chosen colour is mounted on a printer, then the piece is printed, deburred, checked and packed. Allow 5 to 7 days of manufacturing before dispatch, then the delivery time.
In December, take both into account: the earlier the order leaves, the more comfortable the margin before the 24th. This is advice, not a guaranteed date. For a specific date, write to us before ordering.
The pieces in this article can be found in the Christmas, statues, candle holders, home accessories and vases collections. The operation of the workshop is recounted in an hour in the RE3DLINE workshop. For gifts in quantity, our professionals page details what we offer.
